About the role

Reports to: Financial Controller (revenue accounting)

Works with: Finance team and revenue function

Job purpose: This newly created position will provide support to the Financial Controller and oversee revenue-related tasks encompassing financial reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform monthly reconciliations between Salesforce and Business Central systems to ensure precise and accurate record-keeping
  • Monthly forecasting of the revenue streams, facilitating proactive financial planning
  • Monthly budget vs actual analysis across all revenue streams
  • Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive revenue reporting frameworks
  • Support the timely preparation of revenue reports
  • Prepare information for IFRS Foundation Trustee packs for various committees
  • Collaborate closely with revenue function for accurate internal tracking and reporting of revenue streams
  • Support fundraising teams in fulfilling grant reporting obligations
  • Salesforce tracking
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Support in meeting US reporting requirements, such as form 990
  • Prepare information for annual insurance renewal
  • Assist Financial Controller with ad-hoc reporting requirements

Qualifications and experience

Essential

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting
  • Experience with grant tracking
  • Experience in preparing management reports
  • Excellent numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advance level proficiency in Excel
  • Previous experience working with multiple currencies

Desirable

  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Experience working with Business Central and Salesforce
