Terence Fisher

Biography

Terence Fisher is a Forensic Accountant within the investment team at Independent Franchise Partners, LLP. He joined the firm in 2015 and is based in London.

Terence’s focus is on assessing the accounting and earnings quality of the portfolio investments and potential investments. On joining the firm, Terence designed and built an Accounting Quality screening model, which assesses and ranks the accounting quality of companies across a range of quantitative and qualitative metrics. Terence conducts in depth forensic accounting reviews on those companies considered high risk, highlighting areas of aggressive accounting and quantifying the impact these have on earnings and valuation.

Prior to this, Terence worked within Citigroup’s top ranked Accounting and Valuation equity research team. During his time at Citigroup, Terence published high valued research on accounting, taxation, pension exposure and valuation matters.

Terence is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), qualifying with Deloitte in 2012. Terence is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
