Kei Tsuchiya

Biography

Kei Tsuchiya has been working with the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) since May 2020. He is responsible for corporate accounting, sustainability reporting and international relations. In addition to these responsibilities, he serves as a member of the Accounting Standards Advisory Council and the Sustainability Standards Advisory Council at the Financial Accounting Standards Foundation (FASF).

Prior to joining SAAJ, he had a 30-year career at the Industrial Bank of Japan (now Mizuho Bank), where he held various roles in corporate finance, derivatives sales and trading, asset management, risk management and compliance.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University, earned in March 1990, and is a Certified Member Analyst (CMA) of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
