Biography
Joao Toniato is the Head of Global Equity Strategy at Aviva Investors Multi-Asset & Macro. Before this, he was Global Equity Strategist at Amundi Asset Management and the European Equity Portfolio Strategist at UBS Investment Bank in London.
Prior to joining the banking industry, he completed a PhD in Finance and Accounting at Lancaster University Management School and held positions at research institutes and universities across Europe. He has published academic papers in top peer-reviewed journals on topics including the effect of changes in accounting regulation on equity market valuation.
