Larissa van Deventer

Biography
Larissa is a sell-side equity research analyst at Barclays.
Before she joined its European insurance team Larissa covered South African insurance companies for the bank. (Her eleven years’ experience in that sector also included time at Deutsche Bank and Macquarie.) Earlier in her career Larissa was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and she has also been an auditor at Goldman Sachs and Deloitte in South Africa and the USA.
Larissa has a BCom (Hons) degree in accounting sciences from the University of Pretoria, and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa (CA(SA)) and a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).
