Chair of the Trustees Erkki Liikanen delivered a keynote speech at a European Commission conference on the future of corporate reporting in a digital and sustainable economy. The speech can be accessed here.
The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation, responsible for the oversight and governance of the Board, issued narrow-scope amendments to the IFRS Foundation's Constitution, adjusting the appointment terms for the Trustee Chair and Vice-Chairs.
The Trustees confirmed the appointment of 12 new individuals and the reappointments of five individuals to the IFRS Advisory Council.

The Board voted to propose a one-year deferral of the effective date for IFRS 17, the new insurance contracts Standard, to 2022.
