The IFRS Foundation Trustees have created the IFRS Foundation Group of Fellows—a strategic insights group, chaired by Professor Lucrezia Reichlin, that will provide evidence to enhance the Trustees’ understanding of IFRS Standards’ impact on the global economy and other strategic matters relevant to the future of the IFRS Foundation.

Members of the Group of Fellows have strong records of thought leadership and academia:

  • Professor Lucrezia Reichlin (Chair), London Business School and former IFRS Foundation Trustee;
  • Professor Patrick Bolton, Imperial College London;
  • Dr Ma Jun, President of the Institute of Finance and Sustainability in Beijing;
  • Professor Christian Leuz, University of Chicago Booth School of Business; and
  • Luiz Awazu Pereira da Silva, former Deputy General Manager of the Bank of International Settlements and former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Brazil.

Members have been appointed by invitation of the Trustees for an initial term of three years. The group will meet periodically and report back to the Trustees to support their evidence-based decisions.
