Biography
Rowena Chu is co-founder and Chairman of the Board of investment platform Orion3 Group, where she oversees strategy, governance, compliance and capital raising and serves on the credit fund’s investment committee.
Prior to co-founding Orion3 Group, Ms Chu spent more than 40 years in investment banking. For half that time, she was with Deutsche Bank, most recently as Chairman of Hong Kong Coverage and Vice Chairman of Greater China Coverage.
Ms Chu’s experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer of ICG Asia Ltd, Head of Asia Technology Division for equity capital markets at Merrill Lynch, Co-Head of Greater China Division at JPMorgan Chase & Co and auditor of investment banks at PwC, New York.
Ms Chu was recognised among the Top 20 Women in Finance in Asia by FinanceAsia in 2011. She received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
