Keiko Tashiro

Biography

Keiko Tashiro, from Japan, is Deputy President at Daiwa Securities Group, a position she has held since 2019. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has worked at the Group of companies since 1986 in roles that have included Managing Director of various departments.

Before becoming its Deputy President, Keiko was a member of its Board from 2014. She currently serves as the Group’s Head of Sustainability, Financial Literacy and Education, Securities Asset Management, and Think Tank functions.

She is a member of the Financial System Council and the Business Accounting Council at the Japanese Financial Services Agency and a Vice Chairperson at the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, among others.

Keiko became an IFRS Foundation Trustee on 1 January 2022 and was appointed to serve a second term from 1 January 2025.
