The Sustainability Consultative Committee’s (SCC) remit is to identify, inform and advise the International Sustainability Standards Board on priority sustainability matters and related technical protocols, as well as significant interdependencies between sustainability matters. It will provide a consultative and advisory forum where members can constructively contribute towards the achievement of the ISSB’s goal of developing globally accepted, high-quality sustainability disclosure standards.
The SCC is formed of four permanent multilateral member organisations―the International Monetary Fund, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations and the World Bank. Alongside these permanent organisations, nine additional expert members can be appointed. Additional expert members may be drawn from organisations with relevant expertise or appointed as individual experts without organisational association.
All meetings will be conducted in public and will be streamed online for the benefit of stakeholders and observers around the globe. Agenda papers, public notes and a meeting summary will be posted on the meeting pages.
