Biography
Renata Bandeira is the Controllership and Tax Director of Brazil’s Azul Airlines. Previously, she was the Accounting and Tax Director at GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes SA in Brazil. She has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, more than half of which were spent as an auditor at Deloitte, and has MBAs in retail and controllership. She has advised companies on the adoption of IFRS Standards in a number of her roles.
Career highlights include being the key accounting person in conducting one of Brazil’s biggest business combination processes (Sadia and Perdigão), observing full application of IFRS 3 and leading IFRS 16 adoption at GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes SA, Brazil’s largest airline.
