The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation, who are responsible for governance and oversight of the International Accounting Standards Board (Board), have appointed Sue Lloyd to serve a second term as Vice-Chair of the Board.
Ms Lloyd became a Board member in 2014 and was appointed Vice-Chair in October 2016. She is also the non-voting Chair of the IFRS Interpretations Committee.
Her second term is for five years, commencing 1 January 2019.
Hans Hoogervorst, Chair of the International Accounting Standards Board, said:
Sue has made a great contribution to the Board in her role as Vice-Chair. I am very pleased that she will continue in this role for a second term.
